Two Senior Assisted Living Facilities nearing design completion. Construction scheduled to start in the fall.

Two major Senior Assisted Living Projects have been on the WNAL boards running in paralllel. Both Wickwire House in Wolfville and BackHarbour Terrace in Lunenburg are scheduled to begin construction in spring 2006. "Having two projects at the same time afforded us a great deal of leverage to do extra research and development of cutting-edge delivery of senior services," said William Nycum & Associates Limited Vice President Benjie Nycum. "Assisted Living is a relatively new concept and new design solutions are being introduced all the time. These projects gave us the opportunity to put independence and control back in the hands of residents through innovative design solutions combined with established best practices in Europe, America and Japan."

"Senior Living from senior apartments, to Long Term Care, to dementia care remains a core focus of WNAL and we look forward to applying our Assisted Living expertise in Future Projects," said Nycum.
