This project at the Halifax International Airport is the implementation of the long-awaited U.S. Pre-
Clearance Federal Inspection Services Facility. The project includes over 8,000 sq. metres new
and renovated space, including U.S. and International Passenger and Baggage Screening, a
new check-in hall, new baggage facility, new bridges and gates and new aircraft apron addition.

The highlight of the facility will be the new Transborder Lounge for U.S. Departures, which will be
in a two-storey glass atrium space.
